As cooling efforts falter and TEPCO executives busy themselves with shoring up the public image of their fake stability at the collapsing nuke plant they would do well to recall Hiroshima.

Japan’s ruling class need to ponder what will become of Japan if cooling water boils off and the plant explodes. If it happens it will be because of their actions today (and their inaction).
