What the hell is the National Public Safety Broadband Network??

The Potomac Institute for Policy Studies is pleased to announce the release of a timely report on the potential for a new National Safety Broadband Network (NPSBN). Entitled “What Should FirstNet Do First?”, the report (how to spend the LOOT we just stole!!) coincides with the first meeting of the FirstNet Board of Directors.  The Board is empowered by the Middle Class Tax Relief and Job Creation Act of 2012 (they slipped this junk appropriation into this bill … CROOKS!!) to oversee the development of the NPSBN. The Principal Investigator for the study is Jamie Barnett, Rear Admiral, USN (Retired), Senior Vice President of Academic Programs and Research.  He recently led the FCC’s Public Safety and Homeland Security Bureau. . .  (more)
