Seismic activity has reduced but the ground has now risen 10cm in La Palma.

This looks like the 6-foot wall of lava ready to fall into the ocean. You can see all the sloping land on the left and the lava’s moving from the left, which likely means the ocean is on the right. You can see a bridge railing on a river outlet on the right later in the video.

Should be a good live video, if they move the camera angle to show the edge of the lava peninsula. I wonder how close the lava peninsula is to falling off the underwater ledge. I’ll have to check my topographical map of the island tomorrow. It’s almost 0400 EST and the Sun’s just coming up.

I was reading today that scientist were predicting a slowing down of the volcano, with a decrease in daily earthquakes. However, I’m seeing an uptick in earthquake activity in the last several hours. The global solar storm that’s coming through tonight will most likely increase earthquake activity and perhaps lava flow from the volcano. Select “All” on the EMSC site to see the less than significant earthquakes.

A good video that shows the progress and destruction thus far. Videos like this are hard to find because of the unwillingness, of people in control, to show the true state of the situation. Notice the 2 fissures on the top of Cumbre Veija 🌋 at the end of the video. One is releasing gases.
