Protest Planned for Giant Nuke Biz “Summit” in The Hague March 23

21 03 2014

The dregs of humanity will converge on The Hague for the Earth-ending festival of evil. Protests are banned (which should double their size).

It looks like they are going to try the Miami Model used at the FTAA.

Once they supply all of this anti-gathering hardware and weaponry they warehouse it regionally for quick access for future use.  We all know that. And it doesn’t work.

The nuke industry summit official tweet page has lots of pictures…. mostly of security arrangements.

Greenpeace has been doing banner drops

ENE News has a good interview link – Growing likelihood Fukushima reactors will be entombed — Nuclear ‘sacrifice zone’ where they can only try to reduce contamination from escaping — Unprecedented situation, it’s flowing into Pacific Ocean continually adding to plume soon to hit West Coast

Psst Cuttlefish: Thanks for getting the word out! I think it’s in The Hague though and we have lots of Euro students who may show up in Amsterdam. Unless there are two can you please change Amsterdam to The Hague? Also, let me know so I remove my correction note. I was able to change the title which is something new for reblogs but not your text.

Protests at The Hague (23 March) and picket line in Amsterdam (24 March). This against the 2014 Nuclear “Security” Summit at the Hague (seems like they are moving it to Amsterdam for day 2). The Hague Info is in your original in English. From the Dutch: Agenda Amsterdam (NIS): 24 March 2014, Picket-line: Picket-line by the International Nuclear Industry Summit, Time: 07.15 to 10.00. Location: Beursplein, Amsterdam More info: Landelijk Platform tegen Kernenergie https://stopdenss.nl/agenda-amsterdam-nis/ The link seems to be in Dutch. It doesn’t specify if 10 am or 10 pm but Europe tends to run on a 24 hour clock so most likely if 10 pm would have said 22h00. There is a third demo in another town.

I think there are demos all over Holland. They are trying to ban any protests so I think people are gathering all over for a mass convergence.
These morons think their little mopeds and camera dogs can stop the outrage of everybody.
They have no idea of the numbers they will be facing.

I updated my post on WIPP —

Pissing on the Roses says it is ready to blow up again …
Video says many of the workers exposed have to wait 2 weeks for results and did not change clothes, and are spreading radioactivity all around to all they touch, to families, cars, furniture etc.

Thanks! An estimated 250 people attended the protest on Sunday. Maybe more will go on Monday.

“estimated 250 people” = 2,500 who were probably there!

It’s the organizers and RT news who are saying 250. It’s the only reporting. But, I just came to see by looking at the Dutch that The Hague is the world nuclear powers talking about Security and that Amsterdam is the Nuclear Industry. Too bad that there aren’t so many Dutch these days who speak English well so not much translated. The now middle aged still do know English.
Since English is now the lingua franca of young Europe and due to its location it really should have things in English so the surrounding countries could read. It’s a strange reversal of things. And, so that also means that you were right in the first place – Nuclear Biz is in Amsterdam and their govt. lackeys “Nuclear Security” are in The Hague, though who is the lackey of who, we don’t know. No rest for the weary, as Dana points out. May they all go have a seat on Fukushima’s corium, after they help clean some!

if you have ever attended one of these protests you would know the press ALWAYS lies about the numbers in attendance. Every time.

Yes. Also this time. But media is lying by saying non-existent but the organizers themselves on Stop NSS said 250. Today they arrested the demo. Sounded like they arrested all.

but I think protestors are spread out over many cities due to military cutting off roads etc. near the summit… many 10s of thousands protesting if not 100s of thousands.
Just a media black out like the Fukushima blackout….

Probably true for today. Sunday was a pre-event. People would have saved energy for today when the bad people were there. I found no Amsterdam info. Arrests were anti weapons protest at The Hague. I found it odd that the Stop NSS said 19 organizations and only 250 people but their own web site says so!

I bet they do have “gift baskets” alright! What’s in them? I think I will be sick!

“Nuclear Security: essential for the future of the nuclear industry

Nuclear Security Summit 2014:

• Results through political attention at the highest level

• Washington DC 2010, Seoul 2012, The Hague: 24-25 March 2014

• 58 world leaders: 53 states and IAEA, UN, EU and Interpol

Themes: HEU/LEU, CPPNM, IPPAS missions, Rad sources, cooperation govt-industry and gift baskets

Nuclear Industry Summit 2014:

• Supporting event for Nuclear Security Summit 2014

• 200 CEO level representatives from the nuclear industry world-wide

• Prepare a Joint Statement for the Nuclear Security Summit 2014

• Will be held in Amsterdam, 23, 24 and 25 March 2014”

http://ec.europa.eu/energy/nuclear/forum/meetings/doc/2013_05_30/day2block1/mr_rakhorst_enef_2013.pdf (entire fancy brochure here).

PS: What I meant is that since most of the info is in Dutch then it makes it harder for people to know where to go and what to do. Probably 250 is pretty good for the Netherlands only but not for the region. Normally this should pull in people from the region. There’s google translate but since there is some in English people might not know that there is more info in Dutch. I’m glad you gave everyone the heads-up but wish the news had come out even sooner.

Probably the big demo is tomorrow in Amsterdam. Am I missing something on how the Eisenhowers tie into this? Susan Eisenhower is involved in this Nuke Biz Summit. Is this related to her Russian husband or is this something going back to her grandfather? Can’t even see what they are meeting over in Amsterdam. The group at The Hague complained that the politicians are only formally meeting for 7 hours and that the rest is parties and photo ops. I don’t see the Amsterdam group even doing that much according to their web site. They must be over at The Hague or meeting in between with the politicians. Weird, weird, and more weird.

Thanks. Oh, just saw that the arrested ones were 4 who were standing in a pond with a sign. Did you know that during the Civil Rights movement the adults were also scared to lose their jobs, etc. if they participated and so then the High School students and perhaps some younger got arrested in order to “fill the jails”. Malcolm X criticized King for putting the kids in harm’s way, I recently read.

Those kids were very brave. I met many as grown ups at a screening for the Shirley Chisholm documentary.
All grew up to be activists.

… and …. I am moved by this photo of brave kids (from Jackson, Miss. News)

They kept heads straight forward … but you know, racists pouring milk shakes on them could have had knives etc. and none of the sit-in people broke their stance to even look.
Unbelievable bravery.

That is a photo! The sit-in people were older and so had a lot to lose. One white man who participated was legally blind and went to jail in Miami, but did it out of religious conviction! It was illegal for both whites and blacks, which we forget. That helped keep things in place because the non-racist whites were afraid.

They were not only courageous, but they had to be well-trained not to react, and things were organized and planned out. Lack of training, lack of discipline, lack of organization, and agent provocateurs cause demos to be less successful in recent times, I think. These weren’t spontaneous actions. Even Rosa Parks was well-trained at the Highland School. I don’t know how they avoided agent provocateurs, who come in and try to make a peaceful demo look violent. I liked the Sunday demo at The Hague because even though it was small, it seemed peaceful, well-disciplined and orderly. It set a good example.
