FBI – The Terror Factory + Chicago Police’s “black site”

Why Does the FBI Have to Manufacture its Own Plots if Terrorism and ISIS Are Such Grave Threats?

By Glenn Greenwald

“The FBI and major media outlets yesterday trumpeted the agency’s latest counterterrorism triumph: the arrest of three Brooklyn men, ages 19 to 30, on charges of conspiring to travel to Syria to fight for ISIS (photo of joint FBI/NYPD press conference, above). As my colleague Murtaza Hussain ably documents“it appears that none of the three men was in any condition to travel or support the Islamic State, without help from the FBI informant.” One of the frightening terrorist villains told the FBI informant that, beyond having no money, he had encountered a significant problem in following through on the FBI’s plot: his mom had taken away his passport. Noting the bizarre and unhinged ranting of one of the suspects, Hussain noted on Twitter that this case “sounds like another victory for the FBI over the mentally ill.

In this regard, this latest arrest appears to be quite similar to the overwhelming majority of terrorism arrests the FBI has proudly touted over the last decade.”   . . .  (more)

Boing Boing First-hand reports of torture from Homan Square, Chicago PD’s “black site”

“. . . In the wake of last week’s revelations about Homan Square, the off-the-books “black site” where Chicago PD disappear prisoners for violent, aggressive interrogation, four of the site’s victims have come forward to describe the highly racialized human rights abuses at the secret site. . . “

“. . . . Three other men, Kory Wright, Deandre Hutcherson and David Smith, have also told the Guardian they were held in 2006 inside Homan Square, where they say they were handcuffed by both wrists with their arms spread. Hutcherson says he was punched in the face while in this position, before an officer stepped on his groin “like he was putting a cigarette out”.”

I think that the funding for ISIS must be from the military industrial complex. Not that I’m keeping up much but it makes sense. There are plenty of disgruntled youth in the Arab world… have been for decades. In some countries it is difficult for them to marry even due to the cost of dowries and housing shortages, adding an extra element of frustration. But, funding helps. Before it was from Saudi and maybe Iran. Now it seems it’s probably straight up from various arms manufacturers. I don’t believe that the US has to make up fake terror. Anyone who doesn’t think that America is VERY hated hasn’t been outside the country. Or, maybe they don’t know languages to understand or people won’t say to their faces. After Iraq North Africans hated America more than France and you know that is bad, considering all of the abuses which have been heaped upon Africa by France. Strangely, looking through the local UK papers you see how much America is hated – they don’t want government contracts to go to American companies (even those which haven’t been American for 100 years). They don’t bother to ask where America came from! The current PM of the UK’s ancestor made his fortune as a Chicago grain merchant. Those were so exploitive that they gave rise to the farmer populist movement, if I recall correctly. One think that absolutely galls me right now is that the “American” company that the Putinphiles drone on about who is getting Ukraine contracts for nuclear waste is owned by a man who was born and educated in India. He was accused of bribery by the TVA and paid amends. Holtec is his company. He’s got the contract in Ukraine, Sizewell B UK, and all over the US. His canisters appear thin and inadequate quality and he has repeatedly asked for exemptions to store broken fuel rods.

yes, I agree. I heard a good talk on it saying US wants control of Eurasia, Caucuses … I think old Brezinsky plan. And when USSR busted up ‘gold rush’ was on… for black gold.
And US system was make extreme fundamentalist puppets to terrorize locals into ‘asking’ for US intervention. Scheme made up by Brits in Arabia long ago when oil age dawned.
Unrelated … but interesting

on oil grab (I think in here he talks about Skull n Bones boys and oil biz in old days and how Diesel engine ran on peanut oil at first but oil boys bought the patent to make it go on (their) oil.

(hope its the right vid)

All of the oil companies are already in there. Maybe they want more; all of it. That’s something I hadn’t thought of. But, I think that the arms makers and arms dealers simply want the war itself is what I meant to say. The war itself is the most lucrative of all and always has been. Make and destroy arms; destroy cities which must be re-built; excuse for social control. Some days I wonder if Putin actually works for the US. I was thinking about how they said that Saddam asked before he invaded Kuwait and maybe Putin asked before he invaded Crimea. But, I think that as head of many of the State owned companies he’s like a CEO and he and his friends also profit from war, etc. Putin’s opponent who was just killed was an early anti-nuclear activist (after Chernobyl) and blocked a nuclear reactor in his town. Putin is pushing nuclear. He, Japan and France are the biggest nuclear pushers. Read about Putin’s kingmaker Roman Abramovich (not sure of last name spelling). He owns a British football team but made his money robbing the cousins of the Alaskan Natives of their gold and oil in the Russian Far East. He introduced Putin to the halls of power and was the last oligarch standing. Roman built the natives a new village. He’s Volga German Jewish so clearly has no real business near the Bering Straits other than internal imperialism. These years of research have unveiled to me how horrible state capitalism is. Without state capitalism there would be no nuclear business in France or Russia. Instead they continue to export nuclear power. Germany’s nuclear is not state owned and they are shutting it down. It’s not lucrative. Westinghouse is Japanese. When Putin invades with solar panels instead of nuclear reactors then I will like the man. Right now I think it’s a matter of bad vs. worse with Putin being worse. Just read that McCain had planned on building tons of new nuclear reactors – something like 47! From that view Obama was the lesser evil. McCain was behind the recent stabbing in the back-shafting of the American Indians over a copper mine. Obama could have vetoed but he didn’t. Sad thing is that France and Putin could shut down the nuclear industry overnight because it is state owned, but they aren’t. They are pushing for more and more exports. Putin also puts far more money into news than the US does. He’s smart like that. Not a dummy. I fear that Rense may have taken money from him. Never hear Rense complain about Rosatom. And, David Dukkke was very popular in Russia and is on Rense. I love to listen to Rense and Yochi Shimatsu talk though. Crazy world.

Yeah, I like Rense on nukes and some things and not on other things.
Weapons and oil run by the same people.
Nukes + imperialism + secret death cults …. maybe is is those old Babylonian families after all. Nut world on speed up in our time.

Oh, I didn’t see that the video was there. I can listen to it. Thanks. Also, that makes sense about the Brits. Need to read that. I think US military is the military for the British Empire like they made the Highlanders and Irish and even some Africans fight for the empire. I wonder why Snowden wants to go home. I find that really strange. Since he’s not an anti-nuclear activist or environmentalist you would think that he could keep his mouth shut and enjoy St. Petersburg. Maybe he’s not accustomed to the climate but he won’t see much sunshine in US prison. Very strange. Just posted about the tiny fine which BP was given in 2007 for a laundry list of fines – like 300 million usd. Was trying to do a mindless post but instead found all sorts of interesting things, as always.

Do you know this film? I last saw it about 25 years ago but remember it as being interesting. This is the trailer but the full film is online now: http://youtu.be/Ca3M2feqJk8
I recall it as the best testimony against public veiling and the political nature of veiling. Actually, I think I saw it a second time about 20 years ago. Probably the biggest reason for veiling keeping out dirt (hygiene) and bad hair days though.

I believe it. I thought this deadline was 18 March but is in 28 hours. It is just like General Honore said about the exemptions and exceptions. It is so much non-sense I haven’t known where to start. UK gov at least writes things which anyone can read. US English has been in free-fall since 1950, I think looking back at old books.
