NYC: If Indian Point Blows You’re ON YOUR OWN!

15 02 2016

No city was saturated with more ‘security’ funding and new emergency response professionals than New York City after 9-11.

Shockingly, today the modern, tricked-out NYC.gov website has NO ‘what-to-do’ information for millions of New Yorkers if nearby Indian Point nuke plant blows.

The Office of Emergency Management has details and plans for these events:

  • Coastal Storms
  • Coastal Erosion
  • Flooding
  • Strong Windstorms
  • Extreme Heat
  • Winter Weather
  • Water Shortage
  • Earthquakes
  • Pandemic Influenza

Here is what their handout says – – –

NOTHING !

New Yorkers get nothing. […]
