One of Putin’s pet oligarchs, Deripaska, is-was close to Jacob Rothschild’s son Nat. However, Nat appears to have bailed out of Deripaska’s company in Oct. 2017 (I think he was head of EN+ ) and Trump seems to have sunk the company with sanctions, probably because Putin is angry at Deripaska for fighting with Potanin over Rusal stakes. Potanin wasn’t sanctioned. Deripaska was. I need to look for an unposted post I had made about Genie. I thought that Texas Noble was involved in the area too. Some had pulled out by now, two years later. Deripaska’s estranged wife is the daughter of a Yeltsin chief of staff (or something) who is married to Yeltsin daughter Tatiana. A lot of what we see appears to be a battle of predator oligarchs over basic resources, including pipelines. Sometimes predators work together to take down prey but then fight over it. Predator oligarchs exist in multiple countries – maybe all.

Former Louisiana (US) Senator Mary Landrieu, who is the sister of New Orleans Mayor, Mitch Landrieu , is also on the board. Landrieu pushed very hard for new nuclear. When the father, Moon, served on the New Orleans City Council in the late 1960s another council person raised the question of if he was linked to organized crime because his law firm worked for a pinball company in Metairie (or something like that). Anyway, there was a suspected Marcello connection (of course denied). The Landrieus claim Italian heritage and Moon was behind the totally bizarre Ricardo Bofill designed Italy/Italians plaza. Maybe they have fit it in with other things now but it was a totally out of place bizarre thing when it was built. Moon did a lot of construction at a time when the mob is believed to have ruled New Orleans construction. He was also in Carter’s HUD and is still alive, maybe telling the kids what to do. Remember that Meyer Lansky was Jewish from the old Russian Empire, who came to the US as a refugee from Russian pograms.
