Quakes getting bigger on the Mid-Atlantic Ridge

23 01 2019

We have been posting add on quakes in the comments section of our November post – 6.2M Quake on the Mid-Atlantic Ridge.

Some big ones have popped up all down the line from Iceland to Patagonia.

Now this – 6.2M quake off Venezuela –

USGS: M 5.2 – Central Mid-Atlantic Ridge

And we are also watching Yellowstone.

2019 might be the year of the ‘big one’ or the year Yellowstone barfs at last or the year the Cascadia Subduction Zone bashes plates together once and for all. Top off your gas tanks, westerners. And fix up that guest room, easterners.
