Oil of oregano is excellent for fighting viruses and protecting from acquiring a virus. Mixing oregano with EVO oil and massaging into the spine from head to tailbone is a good way for the body to absorb the oil. There are several other essential oils that are helpful in fighting viruses but oregano has a very positive reputation. Of course, do your own research.

Your first line of defense is blowing your nose and coughing. The bad cases are when it settles in the lungs. Coughing helps keep it out, I think. When you’ve been out and about make sure you gently blow your nose, as needed. However, do NOT put/suck water up your nose as there are some bacteria, which can be in water, that could eat your brain, so it’s dangerous. It can grow in hot water heaters. Blowing too hard can back the stuff into other locations.

The virus has a shell that came be dissolved with alcohol (70%) and soap, besides water mechanically washes it off and send it down the drain. The alcohol wipe pads are most convenient but get ones not made in China.

Our skin is actually pretty effective at killing stuff, if you can not rub your nose or eyes for extended periods. I find that if I shouldn’t touch my face that’s when it itches.

I found a list of how long that stays alive on surfaces. I need to look and send it to you.

Dogs can get the virus, by the way. Not sure if they can transmit it and it may be milder.

They say it stays in the air for 3 hours but I think UV sunlight will help kill it.

I think the salt water air would help dry out the virus. I would only keep windows open on the ocean side and stay in as much as possible.

Try to stay 3 to 6 feet away from people; stay upwind.

It tends to die on fabric more quickly (hours) than hard surfaces (days). It’s easier to clean hard surfaces though with alcohol.

It will die on your hair in a few hours, I read. Depending on your lifestyle, the easier is just to come inside and wash your hair and all in the shower when you come in to stay and change clothes. If you can take your shoes off going into the house, it may help track less. If you can’t wash your hair maybe wear a scarf. If someone coughs or sneezes run away. If they cough on your hair wash it for sure, I read (that’s sort of a no-brainer to me).

You can keep your phone in a plastic bag or clean it will alcohol. A smart phone actually can work with a small baggie!

The big thing is if the hospitals become overwhelmed with severe cases.

If you can afford to then buy food and supplies ahead for two weeks to two months.
